Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Fin Control you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.

What Fin Control is

Fin Control is a tool for recording and organising personal and company finances across several currencies. It keeps records and produces reports. It is not a bank, a payment service, an accounting firm or a licensed financial adviser; it does not move money and it does not connect to your bank accounts.

Your account

• Accounts are created by signing in with Google. Keep access to that Google account secure, because anyone who has it has your Fin Control data.
• You are responsible for what you record and for its accuracy.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law.

Plans and payment

• The free plan costs nothing. The Pro plan is a paid subscription billed through Stripe.
• Subscriptions are purchased on the web at https://fin.movydata.com. The mobile apps do not sell subscriptions — a Pro plan bought on the web is active on every device you sign in to.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Trials and promotional discounts expire on their own, and a trial can be claimed only once.
• Prices may change. We will tell you before a change affects one of your renewals.

Your data stays yours

Everything you record remains yours. You give us only the permission we need to store, process and display it so the app can function — converting currencies, building summaries, and sending the notifications you asked for. We claim no ownership over it, and we do not use your financial data to train AI models.

Insights and figures are not advice

Insights, summaries, converted amounts and exchange rates shown in the app are provided for information only. They are not financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, and they may be incomplete or wrong.

Exchange rates are reference rates derived from European Central Bank data. They will not match the rate your bank applies to a real transaction and must not be used to settle one.

Check with a qualified professional before acting on anything the app shows you, and do not rely on it as your only record for tax or legal purposes.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Fin Control for anything illegal, or to disguise the origin of funds.
• Do not try to reach data belonging to other users, or to bypass the checks that separate accounts, families and companies.
• Do not attack, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service, and do not upload malicious files.
• Do not resell or redistribute access to the app.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Fin Control available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change, be suspended or be removed. Because the mobile apps load the web app at runtime, changes reach them as soon as they are deployed. We give reasonable notice before removing a feature you depend on.

Ending your use

You can stop using Fin Control and have your account deleted at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law. If we close your account for any other reason, we refund the unused part of any subscription you have paid for.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the last change, and we notify you in the app or by email before significant changes take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and disputes will be heard by the courts there — unless mandatory consumer law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts instead.
